2023 Lamborghini Urus S
Description
Key Points: Paint Protection Film Applied To Whole Car, Advanced 3D Bang & Olufsen Sound System, Electric Panoramic Sunroof.
As part of a 2023 update to its biggest-selling model, Lamborghini introduced the new Urus S, which replaces the standard Urus in the marque’s lineup.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8, it produces 16bhp more than the original car, with claimed outputs of 657bhp and 627 lb ft of torque. The result is a 0-60mph sprint time of 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 190mph, despite its 2,197 kg kerb weight.
It features adaptive air suspension, four-wheel steering, and torque vectoring via the rear limited-slip differential. There’s cylinder deactivation technology on board, which helps to provide a combined economy figure of around 20mpg.
Visual updates include a new front end design and a more aggressive front bumper. Like the Performante, the S gets a body-coloured carbon-fibre bonnet, while there’s the option of a matte black finish for the revised bonnet vents. Other features include a carbon fibre roof (with optional paint), a new exhaust tip design and air vents behind the rear wheels, which can be specified in 21, 22 and 23-inch sizes.
