2022 Audi RSQ8-S ABT Sportsline Vorsprung
Description
Key Points: Power R Package (Uprated To 740bhp From The RSQ8-R), 23" ABT HR Alloy Wheels, Xpel Stealth PPF Applied To Whole Car.
The Audi RSQ8 is a performance-focused variant of the Q8, unveiled at the 2019 LA Auto Show. Standard cars are powered by the 4.0 TFSI twin-turbo V8 producing 592hp and 590 lb-ft of torque, coupled to the eight-speed Tiptronic automatic gearbox and the Quattro all-wheel drive system.
Inspired by the belief that the RSQ8’s potential is far from exhausted, the German tuning company and Audi group specialist ABT Sportsline came up with the RSQ8-S. As standard, it features the 700hp/880Nm ABT Power S performance upgrade, though this particular car was specified with the Power R pack comprising additional intercoolers, which boosts output to the RSQ8-R specification 740hp and 920Nm.
The RSQ8-S also has a muscular appearance. The extensive aerodynamics package comprises the ABT front lip, side skirt add-ons, rear diffuser and rear spoiler in carbon fibre.
It has the ABT stainless steel exhaust silencer system with four 102mm endpipes and electronically controlled flaps, which helps to boost power due to the integrated interference pipe and reduced backpressure.
The ABT Level Control suspension can lower both axles by up to 25 mm. The car rides on 23-inch ABT HR alloy wheels, which are manufactured using the modern FlowForming process.
Interior upgrades include the ABT seat refinement with red ‘RSQ8-S’ and white ‘ABT’ embroidery, ABT carpet mats and door sill plates, door entry lighting, and additional carbon fibre trim.
