Audi shocked the world back in 2007 with the launch of the original R8. With no supercar experience, Audi managed to easily pull off a mid-engined rival for the Porsche 911. We thought there wasn't an awful lot more they could do to top the original. With its classic, sleek styling and glorious V10 engine, it seemed like they must have peaked.

In 2015 Audi proved the world wrong with the updated R8. Sharing its platform the universally adored Lamborghini Huracan. The upgraded V10 engine now produces 602bhp and 560nm of torque. As well as the engine, Audi had tastefully brought the R8 new styling that brings the supercar into the modern era without detracting from the original's sleek design.

The interior had also gone through some wonderful changes, which simply refined the original idea and decluttered the cabin. Giving the owner and much more driver-focused experience while still enhancing the luxuries to fit the modern day.

The R8 is known as the ultimate everyday supercar, with its subtle, yet alluring design, the comfortable yet sporty interior, and of course, the captivating V10 engine.
