2004 Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
Description
The Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale is the track-focused version of the 360 Modena. In 2000 Ferrari unveiled the 360 Challenge to race in Ferrari's one-make racing series named the Ferrari Challenge. A racing series designed to get Ferrari's road car owners to get on the race track.
The 360 Challenge Stradale took inspiration from the Challenge racecar for a plethora of weight reduction, more power and more aerodynamics than the standard 360 Modena.
The 3.6-litre V8 was upgraded to now produce 425bhp while also weighing 110kg less than the standard car. The new power and weight loss bring the 0-60 down to 4.1 seconds. As well as pure acceleration, Ferrari borrowed the Carbon Ceramic Brembo Brakes from the Enzo and fettled the suspension to give the Challenge Stradale an impressive 3.5 second per lap improvement at Ferrari's own Fiorano Circuit over the standard 360 Modena.
The 360 is the perfect car if you want classic Ferrari V8 sounds with race car performance for the road.
