2024 Koenigsegg Jesko Attack

Description

Key Points: VAT Qualifying Example, Right Hand Drive, Attack Varient, Purple Tinted Carbon Fibre Exterior, 5 Spoke Aircore Carbon Fibre Wheels.

The Koenigsegg Jesko is a limited-production mid-engined hypercar, named as a tribute to the company founder's father, Jesko von Koenigsegg. Introduced at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, all 125 units had sold before the show ended.

Power comes from 5.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8, which delivers 1,280hp and 738lb-ft of torque on standard unleaded petrol, and up to 1,600hp and 1,106 lb-ft of torque using E85 biofuel. It is the same engine found in the Agera, albeit with a new 180-degree flat-plane crank, which saves 5kg and increases the redline from 8,250rpm to 8,500rpm.

The engine drives the rear wheels through the nine-speed multi-clutch ‘Light Speed Transmission’ (LST), which has a shift time ranging from 20 to 30 milliseconds. It also has an overdrive mode called ‘Ultimate Power on Demand’, designed to skip directly to the optimal gear depending on user input, rather than down or upshifting sequentially.

As standard, the Jesko rides on staggered 20 and 21-inch forged aluminium centre-locking alloy wheels, with lightweight carbon fibre items available as an option. They frame ventilated carbon-ceramic brake discs, and come wrapped from the factory in either Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 or the optional Cup 2 R tyres.

The Jesko was available in either the standard high-downforce ‘Attack’ variant, or the low-drag ‘Absolut’ configuration, with subtle differences between the two. The Attack variant comes equipped with the dual front and rear 'Triplex' damper system, a large ‘boomerang’ rear wing and a carbon fibre front splitter.

Meanwhile, the Absolut variant has two rear fins in place of the ‘boomerang’ rear wing on the Attack, as well as a deleted front splitter and winglets, reducing downforce and drag, and increasing the overall top speed to an estimated 310mph. On 26 June 2024, the Jesko Absolut broke the 0–249–0mph acceleration and deceleration record, with a time of 27.83 seconds.
