2022 Porsche Panamera 4S Saloon
Description
Key Points: VAT Qualifying, Rear Axle Steering incl. Power Steering Plus, Panoramic Roof System, Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control Sport (PDCC Sport).
The second-generation Porsche Panamera was introduced in June 2016. Wider, lower and sportier than its predecessor, it has a longer wheelbase and lighter body panels. A departure from the styling of the original car, it develops a clear link to the Porsche 911 through the full-width rear LED light bar, and the creased tail and upper bumper.
It has an overhauled interior featuring a revised dashboard layout, a central tachometer, two seven-inch displays in place of the dials, and a 12.3-inch central touchscreen featuring navigation and Apple CarPlay.
Updated in 2021, post-facelift cars boast a redesigned front fascia, with a different bumper and lower apron. In the back, there is a revamped light strip running over the boot lid, and new LED tail lights were introduced.
The desirable ‘4S’ variant is powered by a turbocharged 2.9-liter V6, producing 434bhp and 406 lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shift. The result is a 0-60mph sprint time of 3.6 seconds, and a top speed of 183mph.
