2022 Mercedes-Benz EQS 450+ AMG Line Premium Saloon
Description
Key Points: Automatic Panoramic Sliding Sunroof, AMG Styling Package, Burmester Premium Sound System.
Unveiled at the 2019 International Motor Show Germany, the Mercedes-Benz EQS is an electric ‘liftback’ saloon powered by a water-cooled permanent magnet synchronous motor from Valeo Siemens.
In EQS 450+ guise, it delivers 329hp to the rear wheels through a single-speed reduction gearbox. Its 108kWh battery provides a WLTP range of 488 miles, and with a drag coefficient of 0.20, Mercedes-Benz claims it was the most aerodynamic car in production at the time of its release.
The EQS features a host of desirable equipment as standard, including rear-wheel steering wheel, wireless phone charging and 360-degree cameras, as well as various useful driver aids, such as adaptive cruise control, lane centering and cross-traffic alert.
When equipped with the AMG Line Premium pack, the car comes with distinctive AMG interior and exterior styling, larger 21-inch wheels and the high-end Burmester audio system.
