2020 BMW M2 CS
Description
Key Points: 1 of 2200 CS' Produced, Misano Blue Metallic Paint, Paint Protective Film (PPF)
Upon release of the BMW M2, the styling and handling characteristics were beloved among BMW fans as it felt like BMW was really trying to recreate the driving experience of the original E30 M3. The original M2 featured a tuned version of the N55 3.0-litre turbocharged straight six from the M235i and M135i, rather than taking the purebred S55 straight out of the F80 M3. This is where the M2 CS comes in. Now featuring the full-fat S55 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged straight six with 444bhp and 500nm of torque. Finally, an engine worthy of the M badge.
The power isn't the only area where the M2 CS stands above its little brother, though. Featuring adaptive damping, a tweaked active rear differential, suspension setup and new, bigger, brakes. Most of these upgrade do of course add weight, which the M division did take care of with a new carbon fibre bonnet, roof, rear diffuser, wing mirrors, front splitter and rear ducktail spoiler.
